Goldener Anker, Wiehre Freiburg

Our journey began at the historic Goldener Anker in the Wiehre district of Freiburg. This iconic gastropub, where Volker, the beloved "Schnitzelkönig," presides, provided a cozy and authentic backdrop for the BO_ CHOP collection. Here, we focused on the Lamb Carré, showcasing the boards' ability to handle both elegant and robust dishes. The atmosphere of Badische Gemütlichkeit made it an ideal setting to highlight the craftsmanship of our boards. As Florian Koch of the Badische Zeitung aptly noted, the Goldener Anker is "a place where professors meet plumbers, where the vegan tolerates the innards gourmet," making it an ideal backdrop for our boards.

 

Lago, See Park, Freiburg

Our next stop was at Restaurant Lago by the serene Pflükinger See. Sonya, the owner, invited us into her modern dining space, where the BO_ CHOP boards found their place amidst the refined and elegant ambiance. Using the entire collection, we demonstrated the boards' capabilities in a professional setting, reflecting the seamless blend of style and functionality that the BO_ CHOP series brings to any kitchen.

Fishmonger, Markthalle Freiburg

Continuing our journey, we visited the vibrant Markthalle Freiburg, where the Forager board took center stage. Ideal for tasks like oyster chucking and preparing fresh seafood, the Forager board’s compact design was perfectly showcased in this bustling environment. The combination of fresh catches and the board’s practical elegance highlighted its indispensable role in both professional and home kitchens.

Bioland Gemüse Stand, Waldkircher Wochenmarkt

At the Waldkircher Wochenmarkt, the Bioland Gemüse Stand provided the perfect setting to highlight the Forager board’s versatility. Surrounded by fresh, organic herbs and vegetables, the Forager board demonstrated its effectiveness in preparing wholesome, intricate dishes like Hasselbacken potatoes. The rustic charm of the market underscored the board’s natural fit in any kitchen focused on fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Our final stop was at the Freiburger Wochenmarkt, where Martin’s Gemüse Stand showcased the Forager board amidst a vibrant array of vegetables. Whether slicing herbs or preparing small, delicate ingredients, the Forager board proved itself to be a versatile tool, perfect for any culinary task. The lively atmosphere of the market highlighted the board’s practicality and style, making it an essential piece for any kitchen.
