The Ai Chair pays homage to the heritage of the wooden chair while embracing modern, sophisticated woodworking techniques perfected in Pennsylvania, USA. Designed by British designer Lloyd Cowdry, the chair features a steam-bent backrest, manually turned legs and spindles, and a CNC-milled seat, seamlessly merging classic and contemporary design.

Warm and inviting, the Ai Chair highlights the natural beauty of wood, carefully oriented during production to achieve a parallel grain pattern. Drawing inspiration from the traditional Windsor chair and Pennsylvania's rich woodworking heritage, the Ai Collection prioritizes comfort, silhouette, and tactility in every detail.

Available in natural oak with seven color finishes and a dark walnut option, the Ai Collection offers versatility and timeless elegance.

LLOYD COWDRY

British designer Lloyd Cowdry was schooled as an industrial designer at Kingston University in London and has worked for Jasper Morrison in Japan and UK, since 2006. With a keen eye for both design intent and quality control, Cowdry’s practice combines a technical and an aesthetic culture in interiors as well as homewares.
